Cyclenation is the federation of cycle campaign groups across the UK. We arose out of a recognition that the big cycling organisations were not really addressing the problems that urban utility cyclists face. Our emphasis is on changing the environment for urban cycling so that it is seen as a safe and healthy way to get around. To this end we support the 20's plenty campaign and moves to improve driver behaviour, such as stricter driver liability legislation. We support the vulnerable cyclist against the sheer mass of traffic that is clogging up our towns and cities.
If you are feeling aggrieved about your local cycling facilities and don't have a campaign group
in your town why not start one up?
